OP carry on with being nice why change just for the sake of meeting someone? I try to treat everyone how I would like to be treated and there those that appreciate that those that don't. I am only interested in the ones that do. Good Luck |

I only meet and chat with polite guys, and find them very attractive.
It's hard for all guys to get anything on here. I've been speaking to several guys on and off all day, got about 50 guys i ignored during that time. Just happens we can't talk to everyone or meet everyone. |

On here being nice and polite isn't the first thing I'm looking for.....there are many other things you need to be/have ...this is fantasy land for many....we are not all looking for a life partner. |

I get nice, polite messages from people outwith what I'm looking for: I ignore them, as my profile, when visible, clearly states what I'm looking for and says I won't reply to those outside my meet criteria.
I don't think it's nice or polite to ignore someone's preferences, but that's just me! 
I'm not saying that is the case here op, but without the background to your question mine is just an example of why being nice doesn't always cut it. |

That's a good point.
Being nice and being polite are fine qualities but won't be enough on their own to secure a meet, although a polite message may stand out amidst a barrage of nasty one-liners which will help your chance. Then you must ensure that you have a well written profile.
