HI there, I am lloking to visit A and G in Huddersfield and until recently was going to be introduced by a lady. However due to circumstances she is no longer able to to do this.
So I am looking for a lady opr a couple who would be willing to introduce me to the place.
I hope I am not breaking etiquette by asking this but I am sure that visiting on my own would be a nightmare.
Anyone able to help or correct my assumptions? |

A nightmare for you to visit a club on your own but in an alternative perspective, might it not be a nightmare for a single female to meet you with the sole purpose of making you feel comfortable visiting a club, I have to ask "what's in it for her ?"
What will the couple get out of it ? there will be single guys at the club already if that's what they are looking for.
Not being nasty but just as I said putting the perspective into what your asking and putting the shiny black thigh length attractive styled needle tip heeled boot on the other foot.
(shoe description to keep the ladies reading this happy)  |

That's exactly why I posted the the thread,to get an opinion and I can of course see that it is posible I could be seen as just fishing for company. As for what anyone would get out of it, well I suppose just the happy thought they have helped someone, lol. Also it might just be the security that a single female might be looking for. I would fully expect to converse extensively with a lady or couple before assuming they would oblige. Even meet socially.
As it happens it seems that Thursday nights are specifically designed for non members, single and couples, to come along and have a look around in what may be a less nerve racking way.
So I'm off this coming Thursday. |

Thank you for that! Though I have been informed that single blokes tend to line up outside rooms in dressing gowns, wanking and looking desperate! The LAST thing I would want to do! If I can't socialise at ythe bar and get to know someone and maybe an invite to play, then I'll be happy with my thank you very much! LOL |

Well A&Gs has a good bar area being a converted pub, so chatting at the bar is a great idea. You`ve correctly identified that hanging around the outside of rooms isn`t the best way to go about it!
Hope you enjoy your evening and meet some nice people even if you don`t "score" |

Id say go on a thursday we did, it was great but then again they had great barstaff i couldnt tell you now though as they are not there anymore. Yeah its nerve wracking but once youve got your foot over the freshold so to speak youll find it to be ok x

Lol, well my first visit to a club was hardly what I expected. A and G's is a really nice place, facilities, decor etc, but as there was only me, the barman the owner and one other guy I might as well have gone to the pub. Still, after talking at length wth Graham the owner I will definately be giving it another go. |

going to chams for my first experiance of a club.. xmas party.. better b more than 3 people there lol.. still not sure what to expect |

Xmas Party, Friday night at Chameleons, expect around 70+ single guys, 15 or so single fems and around 80-90 couples.
It's your first visit, are you a member ?
If not have you been told you can have membership on the night ?
The average waiting list for new single male memberships at Chameleons is around 6 months so if neither of the above apply I would contact the club in advance.
Single Female, couples and FB memberships are always available and the more of them that join the more single males are allowed to join in order to keep the balance right. |
