I've heard that people 'coming out of the closet' are often met with people saying "Oh we knew you were."
It's a tricky one and in some ways better to get it over and in others better to keep quiet if it will rock the boat too much.

Unless you're planning a relationship with a guy while your are still seeing gf i would stay quiet. Most bi guys only see men for sex not relationships. And yes I'm bi. Or are you dreaming of a threesome?

Have you ever talked about threesomes, straight or bi?
Guys usually get close when playing in a threesome whether bi or not, so if you talk about that it might be a way for you to bring up the idea and see how she reacts. |

I did, we had been together about 16 years too, its a bit rocky now and we don't have sex anymore but there are other reasons for that. She is quite supportive though. I find it more difficult coming out in the 'straight' community, there is a lot of homophobia and fear from 'straight' people. |

It took my 19 years to tell my best friend I was bi (fem talking). Her reaction was, I'm glad you've told me, I always knew just didn't want to ask. It's your choice and self confidence that will allow you to speak honestly, if your ready to do so then go for it, in my experience most people have guessed before you say anything but always be prepared for the questioning and which from others.
There is no right or wrong way to do it, just be you, best advice I have x |

You don't mind telling her you are out shagging couples and other women but are worried about telling her that you want men too.

For me, when my oh told me he was bi it was a massive shock but in a good way! 3somes so much more funannd so many possibilities! We're both bi so bi cpl meets and very interesting! The only advice I can give is tell them outright if they have a problem r they really worth having u in ur life. A friend of mine told me they were bisexual about a month ago and my response was "cool. So what u got planned for today" if they care about u they won't care if ur gay straight bi or a freaking unicorn. People who care will show it and those who don't don't deserve ur time x |
