Was it worth it?
I'm thinking of going for it...but so far I've had zero luck on here
So zero luck multiplied by £5 is still zero luck!

Its worth it to help running of the site that you spend time using. Its a show of appreciation more than anything.
Any extra security help it gives towards a meet (by showing trust worthyness or safety etc) is just a bonus.
And some women do take that into when they are on the fence and meeting.

And for those it matters to, quite a few women filter out non site-supporters as a way of ing out those who may be less serious about meeting and only here for a wank... |

At the end of the day it's the cost of one less pint a month, hardly a huge outlay and does at least, as others have said, show a commitment to others that you're serious and not just out for a quick shag. And that's before you even consider the other benefits.
At the end of the day OP only you can decide if you think it's worth it to you though. |

Mm I'd say it's worth it. It shows others I'm serious. That the chances are I'm probably single. That I get to use my see who's near who matches MY prefrences.
And I use the site a lot. It's free, it makes my life more enjoyable, so I'm happy to support it. |

I took the plunge anyway, look at me with my silver badge!
It wasn't the monetary value as such, it was more a question of will it make a difference to women on here as I see a few profiles that only meet site supporters, that's the aspect I was most interested in.
The extra pictures are merely a bonus...a very nice bonus indeed!

We're talking about a fiver for 60 days.
Works out at around £20 a year.
If you're asking if it's worth it, I wonder if it's really worth you being here at all.

Again, the £5 itself was not in question, it was what the £5 itself yielded as a result of becoming a site supporter, perhaps I should have asked if being a site supporter was worth it instead of mentioning the £5 |

Seen a lot of the replies and have to say I am disappointed.....
Just over 8p a day to help run the site that gives you a gateway to meet people and some are saying it's not worth that.....

It's worth it just to see your message threads so you don't forget what you were chatting about the day before. Residually if your memory is as bad as mine.
I went to a birthday meal on Saturday, a pint of lager was £4.50 so 60 days for a fiver is nothing. |

tbh best recomendation is delete your account and make a new one.
A year with no veries most people will write you off as a fantasist who wont meet especially as your close to london which is kinda like fish in a barrel for meeting.
Site supporter is good for uploading your pics on a new account and the message history but thats it |

As far as people saying they only meet site supporters, or see it as a sign of being more genuine, I think at a fiver there are plenty of guys who think it's instashag who will pay when they join. We wouldn't use it a a filter.
I do see the odd status though that says "Run out of messages, KIK is xyz" and think they can't be that bothered if they can't spend the price of a pint and half. |

And it's not about luck, it's effort and consideration. You can go to socials for free. You'll probably get more return for one night at a social if you're chatty and outgoing with people, than any amount of money spent here and a month of messaging people.
People (guys mainly) seem to think there's a magic formula to success here. Be it having a perfectly worded profile, perfect pics or sparkling opening message.

Don't think we know anybody who's not a site supporter. And all the single men we know from the scene play actively and fairly regularly, so I guess they would say their paid membership is worth it. Us personally we block non-site supporters from being able to contact us, in order to reduce numbers of messages.

You'll be able to message other site supporters, who have the option ticked. You'll be able to upload more pics, keep a track of conversations and see who has looked at you, amongst other things.
It's no guarantee that you will attract more attention. |

I find at the very least, Silver supporter status is worth it. Seconding the positive comments above RE: features.
Honestly, it's quite cheap compared to a lot of other sites. |

You'll be hard pushed to find a daytime club meet on a weekend. But if you're free weekday evenings then a social is definitely doable.

Absolutely, getting naked with people in a home environment seems like a world apart from going to a club event, but that's because I've never been so don't know what to expect, when the time comes I'll get myself to an event and wonder what all the fuss was about I'm sure |

I'm not at the moment but I always thought that someone that is a site supporter is likely to be more serious about it all and less likely to be a time waster looking for some instant gratification or to generally piss about and waste people's time. That's my opinion anyway, the looked at me is good and you can have more pics, thays got to be worth it alone? |
