I guess you might still get messages from people who have hotlisted you. But I suspect the reality is you'll attract people who are desperate and will message anyone and everyone rather than people that you'd be interested in |

I think it may work the opposite way from how you intended. I think the decent guys wont contact you as they do want to know something about you. The fantasists amd any hole will do brigade will still contact you as it doesnt matter to them that they know nothing about you |

I'm assuming you are answering all the messages you get then? If so, you're only wasting your own time and give them the wank fodder they want. Tell them you want to chat on the phone or see them on cam, that will get rid of most of them straight away. |

Yeah it's the same with updating status, posting pics etc. If you're hidden it doesn't go into anyone's feed. Including friends "
So the only way is to trawl through the meets section then? I doubt that many won't bother with that, especially in a more heavily populated area. |

I’m a bit confused by this ?? See if I put up a meet I want my profile to be on view , the wording in my profile of what I’m looking for and my pics so someone knows they are attracted to me
I always say in my meet generally what I’m after and to look in my profile to see too - yes of course I will get the usual suspects that are nothing like my type but that’s par for the course
I myself would never reply to a hidden profile because I would know absolutely nothing about them , looks wise or any hint at personality ? |

Seems a pointless experiment in my view, why not just block everyone from messaging you and do your own search or alternatively respond to those who message you and whom you are interested in with a request to speak on the phone. |

I generally only respond to meets where its clear what your looking for.
To show i'm genuine i'm always willing to give my number out and talk on the phone first.
I would say thats the least they should do.
Maybe meet in a club first? |
