We have both an original Hitachi Magic Wand and a Doxy. We love the Hitachi but it is limited to off/slow/fast, no variable settings, the Doxy is much more useful in that respect.
Oh and the head of the Doxy is a lot softer, the Hitachi has a solid rubber head, the Doxy is slightly padded.

Doxy wand is the most powerful out there but some cannot handle the power !
We also have some small rechargeable ones bought online from China , very cheap compared to Ann summers ! Bought via the Ali express website
Recharbake and waterproof is ace but doxy if you want power |
