Now don’t get me wrong here this is not a whinge! Honest lol. I want to know why age is such a a problem on here. There must be dozens of older ladies looking for an older guy out there in fab land but you never hear from them or even catch them looking. If your over 60 are you considered’past it’ I hope not or I’ll shoot myself now. What do you think? Before you say anything about my profile I do have a face pic on there, I just keep it private |

age isn't a 'problem' on here, people just have varying preferences. There are as many if not far more young guys who post the same asking why they are ignored for being too young. Maybe just search profiles that have compatible age requirements.
and regardless of your reasons, a blank avatar is going to be a turn off in the first place to many women. |

You've got to be realistic. 20 year olds, 30 and 40 year olds rarely have sex with 60 year olds. That's just realistic. If you find that depressing then you're living in a fantasy land. Women in their 50s and 60s do join sites like this. But it's often because they've got a thing for slightly younger men.
If I was a 60 year old single man I don't think I'd be on here. I'd be dating or joining local groups. Maybe, if it didn't feel demeaning, I'd hire an escort from time to time. Don't frustrate yourself by barking up a tree you saw some fluffy young squirrel run up. It leapt to another tree ages ago. Hmm. Does that analogy even work?  Good luck  |

I’ve got to say that when I reached 51, I suddenly lost a lot of women who have 50 as the max age. Although they’ve increased in age as well, they haven’t amended their age range. I understand that maybe they didn’t want to but think it hasn’t occurred to them.  |

OP what age group would you prefer to meet? You don't say on your profile.
If you are looking for people around your own age then there should be no problem finding them, there are plenty of people on here who are over 60.
If you are hoping to meet people much younger than yourself then you might struggle somewhat - the vast majority of people have age preferences that are around their own age, give or take 10 years either way.
I would suggest you do a search and tick the box that says "they are looking for people my age". That way you only find these who may consider meeting you if you match all their other preferences (and if they fancy you, of course!)
As a single man on fab you are in a large majority so need to make maximum effort. I can't give you profile advice because you haven't asked for it but I will say that may be one thing you could look at to maximise your chances.

As a hotwife of 43 who has no trouble finding men to meet my needs, I dont feel there is any need for me to sleep with men who are substancial older than myself. I also wouldn’t go for men substantially younger for other reasons. I do feel men between the ages of 35 and 40 have the experience and maturity to give me what I’m looking for, but also have the more youthful body and stamina that often disappears in later middle age. So why go substantially outside what I consider to be the ideal age range when I don’t have to? Would my view change when I’m 60? I don’t know. In do know it’s not hard for older ladies to attract younger men, so again a man in the age upper ranges would need to ask himself what he can offer that younger men can’t. Bearing in mind that it’s bloody hard for men of any age simply due to the ratios.

Good question the OP raises
If you are open, honest and clear about your preferences, then it is up to the other person to make an informed decision / choice.
My own preferences do not limit age at either end and if I am fortunate to meet a younger female and we click, so be it. However I then risk running the gauntlet of criticism on here of being a perv

This is harsh, but I don't believe in telling people comforting lies.
You are an average man over 60. I am afraid that puts you at the very bottom of the fab desirability stakes. As others have said, the fact that you have no pics and a slightly wingey profile doesn't help either.
You may be a lovely person, but this is primarily a site about physical sexual attraction. There is about fifteen men chasing every woman on here. It is extremely unlikely you will be chosen.

That's all very fine, but I am afraid it is obvious that the number of people who will find you sexually attractive will decline with age. After around age 40, the older you are the fewer people who will want to fuck you.
By all means try and defy the odds, but let's not deny reality.

Hmm  I think you need to reword that as "the number of people who will find your appearance sexually attractive will decline". Older people can still be sexy as fuck. But their charisma and energy plays a much bigger role in that than someone in their 20s.
If you're 60 you can't really pose naked in the window and expect people to be jumping over themselves to fuck you. But I'd imagine you absolutely can wine and dine and charm your way into someone's sexual fantasies. Fab is the window. Dating sites are a much better bet for 60+ imo |

Personally I wouldn't be on here as a single man in my sixties. The extremely unlikely Chance that a woman might choose me over 14 other younger men vying for her attention would not compensate for the constant rejection. |

After reading some posts on here after all age is just a number I know a few (younger) guys on here who don’t put there real age on there profiles and expect to meet older guys on here I don’t see why they do it as any older guy would see that they are too young and immature, iv noticed many profiles don’t put age preferences on there profiles which I find annoying |

I disagree that dating sites are a better bet for 60+. There are more and more over sixties on fab. One of the most successful men on here is 68, he does better than most of the thirty and forty year old guys.

I always wonder if men over 60 can maintain an erection without taking something to help with it. And once they cum, how long does it take to get erect again. If it’s for NSA sex, you’d think someone younger will not have that issue. Sounds harsh but that’s the reality. |

I suppose the advantage of being older is that you've also been younger and can see how things change for you!
For those who are still younger please don't be alarmed. There is life over 50 and 60 .... erections and orgasms still happen ... it really isn't as bad as you all seem to think!! |
