On line/ off line

Does any one know the time between signing off and it showing that you are off line?

Had a few instances I have signed out and the other person has answered thinking I'm still on as the blue on light is still on.

Any advice would be appreciated.

It's usually around 5 minutes.

Are you just opening another window and using that? I often come up as online if I'm using another window and haven't actually logged out completely

Can be anything between 5 and 15 minutes I believe depending on your ISP
