Allegedly some sort of social research into the psychology behind swinging I believe. It wasn’t true. |

Totally agree the disclaimer pointless, but I'd imagine the space the extra text takes up would be trivial compared to pictures. Text tends to compress well in storage.

It's ridiculous. If a university *was* using the data itd be completely anonymous anyway so i have no problem with that.
If it was anyone else stealing date (pre GDPR or whatever it's called) then they'd just steal it. They wouldn't care about any disclaimers. |

It's a way of seeing who the newbies are...or the less imaginative.
There are various versions including one about f**eb**k that people just copy and paste. Some post several versions.
Total waste of space and has no legal validity at all.
If you don't want someone to steal your dick or fanny-pics don't put them in the public domain. Once they're out there, they're out there. Simple. |

It was actually research into how quickly people in a group will pick up on a trend.
Sydney university themselves came up with the disclaimer then used a keyword search to monitor it's spread through Fab.
Statistics show that 100% of people posting it also like and share pages on Facebook in the hope of winning a car and that they believe vaccines cause autism. |

I use it as a filter. If someone has that on their profile then they could be the 6ft 2, black bisexual Adonis I've been dreaming about but they'll still get blocked. |
