Sorry to ask but I’m not sure on the etiquette with this! Periods?!
My partner and I have no issue with it and have fun regardless. What’s the situ with playing at clubs and being on? I’m tail end of this one and we are off to a club tonight.
I’m asking more for future reference really as we haven’t played with anyone else yet as we are still new to the scene. Very happy playing with each other and to be watched. But feel the next level will happen soon...

Just let it drop in conversation, the odd person will be a bit squeamish, most won't care, some will love it, we go during periods some times, but only soft play for other people. |

I use the sponge tampons. Never had an issue when playing in a club but have mostly apart from my partner limited it to oral play with others ( me giving) on the off occasion it has ended up full play and the guys never notice as the sponges work really well.
Only real issue is getting them out if I've had a really really good session. The art of pelvic floor exercises really helps.  |

If you're not playing with others fine, but personally I wouldn't play with a person or in a club just incase something happened.
I know most clubs have sprays and rolls you can wipe down beds ect afterwards but I would be mortified if something happened in a club.

I was still on for our club trip on NYE, was only going to be playing with my fwb but didn't wanna be faffing about evertime we wanted to play. Found beppy sponges, or whatever they are called, bloody brilliant, no mess and ya don't have to remove em for sex! |

Each to there own but I would not be impressed to find out that I had performed Oral sex on a lady that was having her period, if you think it’s okay pull out yer tampon/ sponge and have a chew. Nah, didn’t think so.
I think it’s only fair to advise any person that is about to have fun with you that you are on your menstruation.

Thanks for all the comments, we kept to ourselves last night and like I said I was all but finished so no mess.
I think in future we won’t go when I’m on and if we did and if we were approached I would certainly explain the situ and leave it up to the other couple to decide.
Just learning what is and isn’t acceptable on the swinging scene and especially in a club situ x

No certainly wouldn’t want to get blood everywhere at all if I was heavy we wouldn’t go. I was on last day so nothing really but thought best to see what others thoughts are on the whole period and swinging for future reference. X |

We had hotel booked in newcastle for a saturday night last year,, saturday day time came on,, never went,,, had a weekend booked in blackpool , first night there came on went home,, devastated to say the least  |

I’d say check with your potential playmate. I know loads of women who still go to a club when they are on. I still play when I’m on and I tell playmates and we either do partial play or some haven’t been bothered at all. Most clubs have shower facilities. If you shower, then play, clean up and shower, the damage is minimal. Take a towel with you from home and throw it under you when you play and most clubs provide wipes and sprays to wipe down play spaces. You’re tail end so light anyway. I’m only ever light so I really don’t let it get in my way. Most people gush and spray and spunk and pee all over the place so one more bodily fluid shouldn’t be a problem if you manage your play space hygienically. |

No but he needed to make an assumption so he could be disgusted. Pretty sure there was zero mention of oral sex on the woman in a single post other than that one.
Out of interest I know working girls use sponges so they can carry on working during periods, but I didn't know there was an actual product. Presumably just as hard to get out as a torn off sponge piece or does it come with a string or retrieval device other than fingers? |

I only found out about them from a fab girlfriend. They are a weird heart kinda shape with, what is meant to be a slit in the bottom end that is meant to turn into a loop for your finger, when you are retrieving it...but yeah can only get em out with your fingers. I was worried as I was leaving it in during sex but didn't have too much trouble reaching it, luckily. Some of the reviews on amazon made it sound like they were getting lost in there or summat  |

Guys don't notice sponges while fucking as there is no mess and they have no string btw!
Not wanting to fuck someone that is on is fine, it's not for everyone. I only do it with an fwb or, when I have one, my partner. Like I said, I can't see anyone letting a random or anyone else fuck them, whilst on, without letting them know first. |

I've posted a similar forum in the past and in the end I did what worked for me!
I had an ex fuck buddy who didn't mind fucking when on and he always said I was extra horny and extra lubricated
When I came to a club, I only went once while at the end of a period, I'd had no show all day and no show during the Eve, but in general still have one odd spotting in the day, anyway, ended up in a room, told the people in the room and the ball was in their court so to speak...
Have also myself requested feedback on first meets whilst on, it turns out most guys don't really care as long as there is a shower to clean up after, I personally haven't done a meet whilst on,but as long as I tell guys upfront and I personally am up for it,then I don't see why not,,

Last time my then girlfriend tried it it took me a good 10 minutes fishing around to drag it out, made worse by us giggling about it, but that was a piece of torn off bathroom sponge in a last minute emergency
Had a look and it looks a brilliant idea! Thanks to you and the other poster mentioning them. When it's just us we just use a thick towel but they look brilliant if we get caught out and theres a party or something. |
