I don't think I can write what I think is kinky here. I guess I'm one of the ones at the far end. So when someone says they are kinky to me I have to get them to explain what their limits are otherwise I'd probably go way past it! Lol I guess the more we do and see the more of a tolerance we build up? Could just be me tho? |

I consider myself quite adventurous(although I do have limits!)
However I'm still a little unsure when people I'm in conversation with say 'taboo'? What does that count as?

The only true definition of what kinky is is the individuals own - anything else is entirely subjective.
I can remember someone once who told me she was kinky and went on to describe how she'd used whipped cream in the bedroom - now my idea of kinky may involve things being whipped but it certainly wouldn't be the cream  |

It depends on how purist you want to be. Some distinguish sexual kink from BDSM kink where in the BDSM kink the act does not necessarily involve sexual behaviour. Whereas for some sex is integral to their BDSM kink. Others require the sexual act to be coupled with a kink act.
I generally distinguish sexual kink and bdsm kink as follows. If you see it at a swinging club (on a non-fetish night) and most are not upset by it, it is sexual kink. If people get upset it is likely to be BDSM kink. If you get banned doing it or think I am not even going to try it in a swingers club as I would get banned it is likely to be BDSM kink.
At the end of the day whether it is kinky or not is unimportant, what is important is consensual enjoyment by all parties of whatever the acts.

What some consider kink others view as tame and normal
