If there was a competition on killing threads, I would right at the top. Any advice on not killing threads?

Stay focused in your target thread section for new threads and get in there quick as soon as folks post a new one. Cut and paste comments if you have to. Or create a fake profile to bump the thread back up to the top. This is dog eat dog.
