You have the support of a wonderful lady .... don’t forget that xx

From me just a couple of tips

1. Try to blend in .... leave the short skirt, fishnets and heels at home ... you don’t see real ladies dressed like that, and will only draw probably unwanted attention.

2. Don’t look at people - try to avoid eye contact with people you pass ... they will be inclined to look at you and will give the game away. Trust me 99% of people won’t even notice you - providing you abide by tip 1.

3. Try to walk and behave like a woman. Watch how they walk. How they hold your handbag, how they hold their head .... etc.

4. Easy to say - but don’t be nervous. If you’re like me, I’m always a bit nervous to start with, but soo. Settle into it.

Enjoy it - it really is fun. I love it.

Go and buy a coffee and watch as women your age go by, notice how they dress and walk.

Dress your age and leave the fishnets at home.

Going out dressed is amazing but I would strongly suggest shaving your chest, lol xx

Have fun x

I will have to agree with the above comments

Keep it simple and casual everyday cloths nothing out of the ordinary dress for your age

Try and walk heel in front of toe as much as possible blokes walk feet shoulder width and swagger

women walk heel in front of toe near as damn it

Your hands are the deal breaker try to keep out of line of sight

I have broad shoulders so I try and wear broad hips and tight waist use a corset its about proportion

No point if you have size 14 bottom and size 22 shoulders

simple makeup don’t go full on drag queen

Enjoy it you will be nervous I would do city center rather than back water village as people are to busy to notice

Be confident and enjoy

When back at car you will feel amazing

I do it often, never had any trouble, but I'll reiterate what others have said: dress like a woman, not like a transvestite!

On the rare occasion I go out, I find I rarely get a second glance. Most people these days couldn't really give a shit if a bloke wears a dress, just the odd arse hole that likes to get a bit mouthy, but these are few and far between.

Lucky you OP because you go out with your wife and she will provide support.

I have tried a few times but felt very uncomfortable and self conscious.

I don't have the courage to do it again.

I change at the club when I attend one.

I'm very surprised you feel self-conscious because you look very convincing and I don't think you'd get a second glance in public ( I mean that in a good way!)

Not really the same I know, but I, Mr, enjoy wearing a kilt out for Vanilla evenings. I feel confident wearing it and yes I’m probably looking for attention / having a laugh.

If you’re hoping to go out CD and no one notice, it seems like a different dynamic at play.

Wow, you look amazing, I'd happily go out with you.

The more times you go out, the easier it gets. It soon becomes to feel a lot more comfortable. There's nothing better than wearing a nice flowery summer dress when it's sunny xx

Great advice here.

Although I'd advise maybe wearing jeans and comfortable footwear with a feminine top, a skirt or dress is preferable to get the true feeling of being crossdressed.

Maybe drive somewhere remote at first, then if you're feeling confident, a street or shopping mall.

Either way enjoy

Great advice from many!

Feel comfortable in your look, if that's a short skirt and stockings then wear them. Watch how women walk and hold themselves, don't stride out, take shorter steps and put one foot across the other as you walk. Try and look as though you belong, if you act like you should be there hardly anybody will notice. And if they do, be proud and offer nice smile back.

Enjoy your new freedom!

Another thing that will help you blend in is the Rocky Horror show is on tour. Go and see that, there will be people dressed as all sorts there, you will be the least noticeable there.
