Yes, as above leave looking like you have just had a wild session.

We did with my lovely wife walking out with guys cum in her hair & on her face, all part of the fun. Nobody cares, room is paid for & I'm sure most people would be jealous & wish they could do it. Enjoy your night.

You just leave via Reception and tell them so.

You don't have to say why, but there is one crucial element to consider, from the hotel's perspective.

God forbid, but after you have left, say the Fire Alarms go off.

In my Night Management expertise in hotels, a lot automatically start evacuation processes as alarms are linked directly to the Fire Service.

If you don't tell Reception you are going, it could end up being you being looked for, when you're not actually there!

We always just leave the keycard or key in the room and go (assuming weve been able to pay in advance which I always ask to do.

Otherwise, as another poster has said, use the departure as a badge of honour

Hotels don't care so long as you're not leaving the room dripping in bodily fluids.

I used to work on the tills at a big supermarket and people were always embarrassed to buy things like condoms, and honestly nobody gives a shit. Unless you're buying a particularly strange combination, like lube, duct tape and a courgette, I wouldn't really notice.

The room key card does not have any of your details stored on it. What they do load onto it is the room(s) it can open and usually your checkout date so it will not operate after that date.

Any information on your names and bank details will be separate and secure on the hotel's system.

I've worked in hotel housekeeping, albeit 20 years ago. We were told not to be concerned if the room appeared to have hosted an orgy or escort, but to use gloves especially when emptying the bins.

Thank you for your info. I was advised of the card content by a hotel worker and have always believed that to be true. Apologies if that is wrong!! In the mean time i do also keep a room card, as it comes in very handy if, in other hotels, we want to keep the a/c running when our room is empty...and i know that is true

Me and my club buddy go a hotel in Blackpool, my club buddy told her we’re swingers and literally use the hotel room just to hold our bags overnight.

We now get a discount cause we use it all the time haha

I've paid for the hotel electricity, and when it's 30C outside it's nice to come back to a cool room in which I can actually sleep.

Having worked in a hotel I can happily say that they prefer people keeping the ac on to nicking room key cards.

Wrong, surely you have only paid for the electric you use when in your room! If the hotels prefer a/c to be left on, then why have a/c connected to the slot meters in the first place?

It's not a key meter. It's just there to make you think about turning off lights, ac, radio etc before you leave your room.

As I said, I've worked in a hotel.

The reason why many hotels don't like the key cards taken is because they often have a free post address printed on them to encourage return.... However the hotel ends up paying more in postage than the keys cost.

As you say they stop working on the day you check out though some systems allow lift access with old keys.

Hi op

Don’t panic they don’t care if you check out early. It’s a different story if your late as it puts the cleaners back. My st hotels have a key drop box so just post your keys there.

Also don’t forget you can book a room for just a couple of hours and not all night.

They are there to provide a service, what you do in the room is your own business....

To be honest, our issue is the opposite way around! We find after checking in for our MMF hotel meets we feel much more awkward passing reception on our way back INTO the room.

We have tried myself and FB going past reception first, followed a couple of minute late by hubby.

Plan B is hubby to go first followed by me and FB a couple of minute s later.

However, we find most relaxed is for me to go first, followed a few minutes later by hubby and FB. Once in our room, hubby makes his excuse to go back to the bar for a glass of ice...and makes sure it takes him 20 minutes or so!!

Finally the least stressful scenario we had was with a previous regular FB, he used to book himself into the same hotel...that way we had numerous sleeping options and no embarrassment walking back past reception!!

Perhaps, from anyone that actually works behind hotel reception, we would be very grateful for your advice.

Thanks xx

I've spent my fair share of time in hotels in a previous job refurbishing them and nearly every staff member would say to me they knew immediately when people check in when it's used for sex so they probably already know. Also, they don't care as they see it day in day out!

Honestly, people who work in hotels don't care as long as you don't damage the room or have extra guests stay overnight.
