Verified profiles fake or genuine ?

I find it incredibly hard on here to trust single female profiles as so many fakes so i use verifications to limit risk
Over the last two days I have seen three verified profiles where the verification seemed to happen at the same time as joining and the detail of the verification is hidden
One turned out to be an obvious sad act so got reported
Have I become to cynical? |

Not cynical, just realistic. It's been going on for a while. A fake account is created and that opens the flood gates for many more. Offering newbies fake veris, which some men do hoping they will get a meet, doesn't help. |

It's easy to get or make false verifications. we dont show details of ours but then we only meet at clubs so think ours is a little different scenario to people wanting other meets. |

I think not showing I fair enough if you have multiple over s time period being a member fir 5 weeks and having a Biden verification 5 weeks ago just doesn’t look right ?!?! Think everyone should be photo verified that may stop it ?!? |

Camming is not a sure-fire test, unless you can do it in a directing room so you can ask them to do something like stick their tongue out or wave a hand... sounds like a lot of hoops to jump through but we did catch one profile out that was running a video loop, but only because we had their cam on in a chatroom for a while.  |

Well J initially joined fab with his ex after finding out about it at a club and had several verifications within days of making his old profile but he doesnt see the need for more or photo verifications.. |

Camming is not a sure-fire test, unless you can do it in a directing room so you can ask them to do something like stick their tongue out or wave a hand... sounds like a lot of hoops to jump through but we did catch one profile out that was running a video loop, but only because we had their cam on in a chatroom for a while. "

You're not cynical at all. I was chatting to a "girl" before who did nothing but ask for pics and then left me a meeting in person verification without ever actually meeting me. Turned out she'd done that with a few of her veris. There are so many fakes out there!
Just had another girl try to pretend a photo she'd sent on kik was live when it plainly wasn't  |

Always exceptions obviously however the rule at the moment seems to be fakes out numbering genuine sad but true |

The site’s full of fakes. Experience tells us which are the obvious ones. We only meet at clubs, real genuine people!  |

We always start from the position that any profile which contacts us unless it is well verified is probably fake. It is up to them as we chat to prove they are genuine. Usually the request for a phone call or video chat stops things from moving any further. |

We like to read the whole veri, and check out the person who sent it, and their veries too."
Due diligence can't be beaten. In our six years on here we've never had a timewaster or fake fuck us about and only one no show that didn't get the chance to be a no show on a second occasion. |

I don't understand how they cannot be photo verified? As when we signed up it wouldn't let us continue to look about on the site without verifying ourselves x |

I think that is a relatively new feature. We have been on here a number of years and did not need to be photo verified when we set up the account. |

I have two lots of veris on the same dates which is purely coincidental but imagine makes me look suspicious! I had a veri that broke it up but he deleted his profile so not showing. I am real and go on cam to prove it. If in doubt get people in cam, I insist on it |

Unless you can read the veri and make your own mind up from it, unfortunately you have morons here that will send a veri to get around filters, seen it numerous times that genuine ladies have put on display... |

New profiles have to do it, but its a waste of server space, even someone as useless on a comp could fake one up. |

I have been on and off fab for a good 10 years and I have seen the increase in fakes and the decrease in trust. I did a reverse image search recently and found that I was chatting to a fake. I confronted them and the profile disappeared within seconds! |

No, We are in the same boat as only wish to meet a lady singleton now. We skim past most newbies & always have really. Now though we have to check more carefully even verified profiles, by the time we filter out messages from the fakes, the dreamers & those couples that don't read profiles & we are down to probably 1/20 messages being useful or genuine.
And that's with guys blocked!
Perhaps if a verified profile is proved fake then instead of just removing that profile all profiles associated with it & then those associated with those were also removed it might alleviate the problem a bit.

I think it's getting worse on here. There is a profile using pics that I know have come from another site, the person on the other site says they're definitely not on here.
Somehow the profile is verified by others, but not photo verified.
Guiding rule... if it's too good to be true, it probably is!  |

The single females chasing us scenario, we always treat as if its a fake until proven otherwise, remain polite and friendly, but no face pics or any other detail.
99% of time, fake news as Drumpf would say.
One or two have turned out to be real though so its sometimes worth continuing the chat. |

I know a couple of people on here who dont show a veri simply because their real name was used.
Sometimes there is real reason. Like yourselves tho, if there are many hidden it does raise a flag. |
