Hey does anyone know if you can appeal when a pic gets turned down?

No, you can upload it again though, but if it breaks a rule it will just get rejected again

I thought that the general advice was to leave the rejected pic in your gallery and then report it giving the reason you think it shouldn’t have been rejected?

as above, leave the picture in your gallery and contact admin from the contact button asking them to review it
