Not going into details but I've had a hell of a few days which has left me feeling unimportant, unwanted and totally beaten figuratively speaking.

I'm trying to shake it off but need some self care ideas please? My brain has the dumb and im just sat on my bum feeling crappy.

Short of that, if someone could shake some sense into me thatd be great xx

Music usually works for me. Really rack your brains for those uplifting, powerfull songs that you forget about until you hear them somewhere. Then blast them out singing along even making up your own words when you dont know them haha. If more serious than that , then hey you dont know me but feel free to unload one . Not a problem at all .

Have you had an eye on a new outfit or perfume you really really want? Retail therapy always perks me up. X

In the short term, indulge. Chocolate, ice cream, crap music and cry, sleep. Cocoon. Distract. Couple of days max.

After that, fresh air, exercise, throw yourself into meaningful things that are completely unrelated. Put it behind you with a vengeance.

Going to the gym has helped me in the past. Then visiting my friends and family to remind myself how lucky I am.

Go for a nice refreshing walk that's what I try to do. A bit of binge eating is good but I've been in a bad head space for three mo that and gained a stone!!

I also just packed a bag and went to stay with a friend in wales. It really helped me. I was off sick so I could.

Granted it's a horrible day, but a park walk and a good coffee while people watching. Nature seems to ground people and watching others always reminds me my life isn't so bad.

As others suggest do something for you, splash out on something you've had your eye on, get that massage [happy ending optional ] or smash some weights.

Life is good sometimes it's a little hard for that to shine through

Get a takeaway, put a favourite film on, a few drinks and a bit of positive thinking. Something that's happened/happening/going to happen.

A good night's sleep and a fresh outlook the following day

Durham, North Yorkshire and can travel

Listening to some happy music and singing my heart out.

Go to an exercise class.

Failing that, eat chocolate, have an early night.....and remember.....tomorrow is a new day.

First thing first OP xx Big hug for you xx

It’s not nice when you get treated like that no one deserves that torture.

If I lived closer I would suggest a chat over a coffee to discuss your problems and some great TLC hugs.

However as I am miles away then always chatting to someone who will just listen can really help you feel better (a weight on your mind shared is half the weight to carry) xxx

Nature was mentioned and this is also great for your spiritual feelings as you can see beauty all around you ( watching rabbits play / see a bird of pray glide on thermals / hear the blackbird sing) xx

Hope it helps and stay positive your very special as there is only one of you xx
