Surprised by so many saying they prefer cut, I thought it was pretty rare in the UK outside of religious communities.
I'm against all forms of genital mutilation on children but hey, that's just me. |

Obviously medical reasons are different, we amputate for medical reasons but you wouldn't let someone do it to a child just because they wanted to. And if people do like how it looks then they can elect to have it when they are a consenting adult. |

I'd look like a porn star too if I was younger, fitter, had a bigger cock and some abs... I too was "done" when younger... And similarly don't feel mutilated... I like the little general just as it.. |

So by the sounds of it we are talking about "religious' reasons to which i am not the correct person to comment as i dont believe in it or what goes off because of it. |

Circumcision, for any reason other than medical, is genital mutilation. There is no excuse or legitimate reason.
If an individual chooses it for themselves, as a consenting adult, then that is their choice. |

I'd never even thought about it till we joined Fab. Had only ever seen uncircumcised penii till then. |

It’s interesting to see the views here. My foreskin is fine when semi- or fully erect, but I have a bit of a ‘polo neck’ as my wife calls it when fully flaccid.
I wouldn’t mind losing it for the cosmetic aspect, but I’d be very particular on the process to remove it, e.g. definitely no stitches (don’t want a Frankenpenis), so glue or non-surgical removal only.
Would also be concerned about loss of sensation. I would be OK losing a little, but not much. |

"Prefer foreskin on, cut ones just look a bit odd to me but I guess it's what you're used to. "
How does it look odd when surely it looks the same as an uncut dick with the skin pulled back? |

It doesn't actually. For one thing there is the scar that is left but the head gets drier and tougher too. |

I was staggered when I realised how routine it is in America. |

For the cut fans. Over here
And in response to the general argument, I had no say in the matter... but happy with what I have. |

And it should only done by qualified doctors.
Scarring and damage is done by incompetance. Not surprising when operating on a baby's penis. Wait till adulthood and free will(y).

Some of these replies are shocking. Can you imagine if men were saying they had a preference for FGM and thought it looked better.
We're talking about cutting bits of babies here not a hair cut. |

Sure... And the babies grow into adults.. And from the small selection of adults here in possession of one...they Don't seem to have a problem with what they have....
But when you put it in the context of gm... Hmmm... Makes you think. Im not sure it's shocking so much as... Its hard to contextualise something that happened to me 55 years ago when it has not so far at least given me any problems... |

Actually there are lots of cases every year worldwide, where untrained religious cutters damage baby boys beyond repair, babies get infection in the area even if done professionally due to difficulty in keeping it clean. It's not something to be done for no reason. Some might have it done as children due to difficulties with tightness (though there are less dramatic alternatives - worked for our son). That's fine. I don't think it's fine to routinely lop off a perfectly harmless bit of skin, usually done without anaesthetic in religious methods. |

I wasn't aware that was a problem in our country... Everydays a school day. |

Google "surgeon struck off circumcision" and you'll find news stories from the UK and Ireland |

I didn't say anything about people complaining. I only responded to your statement that it looked the same with the skin pulled back because I just don't think that is the case. |

Just the way nature....or God intended here!
Controversial:- Not the way a human interpreted/perceived/or hallucinated God wished their penis or their faithfuls' penis's to be.
I am an evolutionist(love Darwin) and 'natural selection' has deemed
'lid on' best!!(lol) |
