Colour is porn, art is black and white!
There are no hard and fast rules. For erotic, I much prefer black and white. Has to be done properly though, and use tone properly.
Some images work best in colour, where there is a strong colour or tone that just pops the image. In saying that, the last nude images I took, when converted to black and white looked amazing, but that's more to do with the lady in question who is fabulous in every respect, and I cannot wait to photograph her again. |
