I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who love porn and don't see any problem with enjoying it. If that's the case I am not here to persuade you otherwise.

However if you are someone who recognises the harmful effects and are interested in educating yourself about these - including porn addiction and the trafficking, coercion and non-consent issues which are rife in the industry, I'd like to direct you to a resource called Fight The New Drug. You can find easily find their website and Instagram page by searching the name.

Last year I did feel like I was addicted to porn.. How I noticed this was not just for watching and wanking at home that's normal.. But when it got to the point i kept checking on twitter every so often to see if I missed anything good to talking about it often at work (work with open minded woman) it was at that point I knew I was an addit so I took a break from twitter and stopped talking about.. Now I feel like a regular guy again.

But being single it's to be expected but is it possible to be addicted if you a couple?

It's very common I'm sure, but not really talked about. I guess it's a little bit like problematic drinking in that alcohol is widely accepted and even celebrated/encouraged but less conversation is had around the problems it can cause. Maybe the website I mentioned will have some useful info for you.

It's good that you recognised it and changed things. I think there are a lot of guys in relationships who are addicted to porn, especially if their sex life in the relationship has become stale.

Does the website have new material compared to pornhub and other sites? If so then I am sure it’s worth a visit for many a couple who enjoy porn together

I can imagine it's a bit of a vicious circle of mediocre/no sex - being less respectful/responsive to partner and her needs - her being less inclined to have sex and him being less satisfied by sex with her.

Porn in general and especially porn addiction rewires the brain in lots of ways which make our relationships less fulfilling for both partners. Any addiction is hard to break but I guess admitting it is the first step, then empowering yourself with knowledge.

Thanks will take a look.

I worked, with my ex wife and kids doing anti trafficking and rescue projects in Eastern Europe for a while. It’s all connected to porn in one way or another but poverty and culture is the root causes, some people just run out of options

For me it's not just porn itself I like the whole history if it.. Have many films from the early 1900s and have a book about the history of porn from the 70s but as I got older and seen more films and documentary about the 70s porn (mostly America) a lot of the smaller films and probably larger films too prostitution and drugs was a key facter if anyone as not seen the duece I highly recommend has it shows the highs and lows of porn in the 70s

Now with the gonzo and 'ameture' films from Eastern Europe I can't help but think is history repeating itself are these women forced or sold is drugs involved.. Or has we hope just enjoy the freedom they now have that they didn't have 20+ years ago.
