If we block someone, sometimes it's just to filter unsuitable profiles out of searches and updates. However sometimes it's married cheats, entitled folk, opinions we don't agree with, lazy profile, no pics.

We only block those who are not for us (say after seeing their face pics) or those who delete our initial message. Of course abusive folk too but we get very little of that thankfully . Saves wasting time messaging them again in the future and makes searches just that little bit less hopeless  . We'd see no reason to block you especially as you imply your Mrs is interested too... |

Yes this really.
People get quite upset to find they have been blocked but if they have set criteria that excludes me (age,smoking etc.) Then I really don't want them coming up every time I search the "near me" tab.
Also I block anyone who I have exchanged messages with who puts "HaHa" at the end of every post !

Our blocklist is people who’ve been rude to us either in messages or on the forum, people we know in real life, people who repeatedly message and one person who had annoying status updates. |

How would you know if they were being blocked? We block all cheating profiles we see, don't want the drama and don't agree with it. And before anyone throws in 'but you don't know the situation' I don't care. It's not for us. |

I mainly block local guys with unappetising status updates or who keep uploading cock pics. So I don't have to see it and so they can't message. And I do block from the forum if I feel very negative about their opinions.
Blocking means they can't see my profile - that's just as important as not being able to message me. They can't see my photos. |
