I've been accused more than once of not bring a real Dom, I'm not alpha enough, I don't take it seriously, I'm only interested in certain kinks...
Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Doesn't bother me if someone thinks a suit is essential Dom wear. Doesn't bother me if they are inspired by 50 shades or any of the other reasons a Dom is criticised for not being a real Dom
How other people play really doesn't bother me unless I think it's putting someone at risk, and even then I'm not sure it's my place to comment as I'm not neccesarily aware of the dynamic.

It really doesn't.
I just find the need to out Dom other Doms entertaining. It's interesting that it's not something you ever see Domme's engaging in.
I was talking to one of the crew from a large London fetish event a few weeks ago and they said that they always have a woman in charge of the dungeon because so many Doms take exception to being told what to do by another Dom (but won't argue with a Domme) and these threads (there's at least 2 on the go at present) are effectively kink shaming. It's an easy term to use and this site is predominantly a swingers site. But inevitably swinging overlaps kink and why not?
The thing is with these 20yr old Doms with 10yrs experience. Is when you look below the surface and ask them about subspace, subdrop and aftercare etc. They have no idea what you are talking about.
They are simple things but very important. Leaving a girl with bruises is no benchmark.

Since this is the second time you've posted this, I'll respond.
I doubt that in terms of conciousness you have any idea what these things are either... so as a 29 year old dom let me enlighten you a bit.
As beings who can emanate limitless frequencies (emotions, feelings, etc) subspace is the shifting of one's assemblage point into a space where particular frequencies are associated with being a sub... where inhibitions, the need of control, certain characteristics (which are often alluded to as differing personas) and much more dependant on the submissive in question, are stripped/adjusted or amended.
Doing so raises the frequency of a sub energetically, and once the session/experience has ended or the energy levels are depleted they experience sub drop. In this space these things come flooding back in, often emotions and questions can arise which a dom needs to be aware of. Being emotionally and mentally available is just as if not more important than being there physically qnd is known as aftercare.
People think doms are the ones in control but real doms should know and appreciate its a two way street and in some cases the sub has the most power in a dynamic. This doesn't mean they will be disobedient... im referencing the trust they show to a dom. Giving free reign over a person's actions choices and experiences (depending on the dynamic) is a huge gift, especially in a society where everybody is expected to be independent, strong and (especially in the case of guys) emotionally boxed up or 'Having your shit together.') Obviously if you are a male sub then I think you can see the benefits.
If you have a dom that actually knows what they are doing dynamic play can extend beyond the bedroom into healing trauma, qnd becoming more self aware.
Let me end by saying there's a lot more behind this than I care to explain to those whove already proved close-minded but its a topic im passionate about and that goes far beyond sex into conciousness and furthermore evolution.

As a woman in charge of a dungeon for a large London fetish event that is also in Manchester (and having been in charge of dungeons in the North of England since the late 2000's (on and off).
