Our is nights out. We almost got caught out recently as we used to go to clubs in Leeds regularly. Mrs was arranging a girls night out and they originally planned to go to Leeds and said she should plan as she would know all the good bars. Luckily they decided to go elsewhere. |

That could have been awkward, even more so if she slipped up and mentioned the name of the clubs lol |

"We say we're going out. If they ask where and who with we say for a meal with friends. Because frankly it's none of their darn business. "
You're right it's not ,but sometimes it's easier to tell a white lie lol |

We used to just say we are going out for a meal with freinds or some.such.
Then one of my.siblings worked out what we where up to and now everyone knows. Wasn't great having the kids find out (who are grown up) but whats done is done and they dont care. It's a non issue now so.we just say we are going out. Nothing asked, nothing told.

We just say going out for drinks or a meal with friends, however the kids are normally inquisitive about who/where. As we are otherwise a very open family it would raise more suspicion if we said ‘mind your own business’. Thinking we need to “join” a book/wine club or something |

"No excuses needed…. I live alone!
Lucky you ,sometimes it can be hard explaining to a child lol "
Yep mine are adults now and I doubt they’d care even if they found out I was always the liberal parent! |

Usually tell them I am off out on a debaucherous bender filled with drugs, hookers and rock and roll.
They think I am just off out with friends or off to do some casual work as it’s what I used say when going to actual work in the warehouses lol. |
