Nothing weird about advertising it I think, in my experience the amount I cum has been a welcome surprise to the majority of my partners.
On here there seem to be singles and couples who are specifically after heavy cummers so it shouldn't really be a surprise if someone wants to brag about it to you in the hopes it might make you just the tiniest bit more attracted to them.
