For those of you have watched this movie, who believes the end scene was simply a nod to the darker side of male control and breeding? Like to know others thoughts, which will quite rightly frown upon the scene, but interesting nonetheless. Challenging ideas make for interesting conversation, as someone once said. |

I dont think it is but you have to go back to the story line to find out why.

That would imply the police failed in there job at collection of evidence.
Avoided any legal ramifications involving vehicle manslaughter because she is rich.
Chose the home of a blind man as their latest target. Rumor has it that he keeps a $300,000 money in the house that he won in a lawsuit against the family who killed his daughter in a car accident.
whilst on the other hand he could spend that money on paying for a surrogate mother to have a child for him.
the system would have blocked him from caring for that child due to that hes fully blind.
whilst she gets out to enjoy her life.
