It's hard to comment on what the OP is referring to with such a generalised opening statement, so a general reply would be:
Isn't that what the forums are for, to air personal views, I agree there is no place in the forums or anywhere else for personal insults but that aside free speech is what makes debate interesting,
If people don't want to hear other peoples opinion perhaps they shouldn't air thier own opinions in a public forum
Over the years I have enjoyed the forums and had my own personal opinion altered by some of the counter-views offered by some people, on other occasions thier thoughts have only re-affirmed wether others have agreed or disagreed with me. |

Lol, I was gonna say the same thing, bearing in mind this thread has basically been started on the basis of OP hurling the first "snowball" and instead of getting support was pulled up on it.
The way I see it "I'll slap, and if I receive no support, I'll complain".
People, the threads are for debate, irrespective of opinions. Life isn't about everyone agreeing about everything all the time, however its about getting along and respecting each and everyone's opinions without resorting to comments like "Get a life". |
