Yes i should just move on, but this in genuinely starting to boil my pi$$
Not a day goes by without several random friends requests.
Whilst I get hardly anyone reads profiles (where we ask for no friends requests without chatting) why on earth WOULD anyone want to be friends without chatting?
I assume its just picture collectors looking for access to private galleries but it cant eb that hard for the site to ‘allow” friends requests only after messaging.
Yes, its nothing to lose sleep over but for me its just another indication of a disrespectful element on here who don’t acknowledge others wishes.
Rant over.
I fell better already |

I used to get daily friend requests from women competing on hotpics.
I've never spoken to any of them and some I'd never heard of until they sent the request.
I've never accepted any of them but don't delete them which prevents them from sending another one. |

I dont see the point unless there’s been at least a couple of days chatting and it potentially leads to a meet.
Even then its not a deal breaker if we’re “friends” or not |

I just ignore them and they are stuck there in limbo. I don’t even have “don’t send an invite unless we’ve spoken” because I know full well they will anyway. They ignore my distance rule so it’s just another thing to annoy me if I let it. |

I find the easiest way to deter unannounced friends requests is to have next to no friends only photos.
The sole reason for most to send a request is to see extra content.
Set the majority as public and any face photos/more graphic that you don't want visible to all as private, so you can send to people whenever you choose.....and the volume of requests will plummet.
Or.....be a single guy. |

We state on our profile that anyone sending an unsolicited friend request will be blocked. They are.
If they can’t be bothered to read our profile then they’re not for us.
Simple and satisfying.
We don’t waste too much time on this site anymore. |

We get quite a few random friends requests from couples we have never spoken to. If its a party organiser with lots of verifications we dont really mind but otherwise its an automatic delete. We also get lots of winks even though we say in our profile winks will be ignored. |

That did make us chuckle
Thanks for the responses all.
Its the drip drip drip effect of bad messages, people who cant/don’t/refuse to read profiles and unsolicited cock pics that all occasionally lead us to question of our sanity on here.
Much could be fixed with better filters and a back end process, but i guess thats wishful thinking. |
