How risky is swingers lifestyle?

I'm half a couple and we both meet together and seperately.
Jack more than me, but that's my choice.
We've been together 8.5 years, never any cause for concern or drama.
He always tells me if he's chatting to someone or he'd want to meet them and I'm good with that. I'll even speak to the lady or couple to confirm it if they prefer to.
