Anyone else hate Xmas

No it isn't for everyone. Apart from it bring a Christian festival so not really relevant to other religions and people with no faith, there are those who for various reasons just don't like it.
I hope you get to pass the two days in relative peace.

I hate it. I go to visit my elderly mother for a couple of days. It just me and her. She’s very house bound, so we stay in. She spends Christmas Day crying, because she misses my Dad.
I love her, but I find the emotional kick really difficult to cope with. |

I fully understand that. Will you be able to celebrate before or after ? |

Not me:
I think I might actually enjoy being on the naughty list a little too much. There's something about a little mischief that just makes the season more interesting. After all, the naughty list is where the real fun is—no rules, no expectations, just pure chaos and a little extra holiday spice. Sure, the nice list gets the gifts, but we on the naughty list? We get the thrill of being a little bad, and let's be honest, that's way more exciting than sitting around sipping teas and being “good.” So, here's to mischief and mayhem—who's with me? |

I'm not a huge fan of December to be honest.
I see people who haven't got 2 pennies to rub together trying to get by.
I see the over-indulgence when others have nothing.
I feel the sadness from people who don't have anyone.
Unfortunately for me, Christmas is like my kryptonite |

I don't hate Christmas but I'm not a huge fan of it. It is way too commercialised, it's about "spend, spend, spend", and the real reason why Christmas exists is buried very deep. I think it would help a bit if Christmas was not shoved down our throats from about August time.
And because of all the Christmas ads showing fake-happy families celebrating together, it hurts more for those who either don't have anyone or who lost someone recently. |

It starts too early these days ..is over hyped and that's before you factor in excess of foods offered and purchased, then wasted ...cost and it seems to make people more irritable than they already are these days..
Not for me these days, but if people still enjoy it ..good on them ..
