"It’s dead nothing goes on these days, not sure why?"
Did wonder if dogging was still much of a thing. There was a particularly infamous spot near Dorchester that got a lot of press pre-pandemic - not that I ever summoned the courage to investigate! - but you don’t really hear about it as much these days. |

Well enjoy it whilst you can, forestry England is planning to introduce parking charges to nearly all of the 130 car parks in the forest.
Which will mean either:
More patrol's checking the car parks or
CCTV installed to monitor traffic.
And asleep always if you are driving in the forest keep your speed down and beware of the animals far too many getting killed by selfish drivers. |

I took my FB to Spring Bushes and Shavewood 2-3 times last summer autumn. Spring Bushes was active with another couple in a car but there were at least 8 guys there.
We had a good time, objective achieved.
The car parking charges will change things |

Parking charges came into effect today, there is also a time limit from 11pm to 4am where you can't go into the at all.
A shame, the forest was always a really good free afternoon out with the dog but I guess with the limited funds the NFDC get they need revenue somehow. The state of the tracks are pretty dangerous in some areas.
They also state that it is to stop 'Anti Social Behaviour' I can't help but think that might be to put off the hundreds of guys that just sit in cars staring at each other, or that leave tissues and used condoms laying about.
Not that it will affect anyone other than guys, been years since I have seen any genuine couples there (I walk the dog there quite a bit in a variety of places)
Its £3 or 4 for a couple of hours now I think, definitely need to plan a time frame if arranging any alfresco dogging events, and maybe be more mindful and discreet as there will be wardens about as well now.

"We've never come across any when down there and we're often in the forest 4+ times a year"
Not going to stay you must be looking in tye wrong place, but during nice weather I know of 4 car parks that have activity. Maybe different after the parking charges, but I’m sure it will not effect the meet in car then move to the woods type activity |
