Anyone find the forum a hard place to make your way in to??
I (Donna) was a regular poster before our break from the site.
We’ve since returned and I’ve found a lot of the forums to be quite cliquey which is a shame for newbies trying to join in.
I don’t remember it being like this a few years ago |

Just seems like a big switch, when we joined a good 7+ years ago, the forum was a friendly space.

It’s like you’re not well known so not welcome.

I totally agree. As I say, when we joined 7+ years ago the forums seemed a lot more welcoming than they are now |

Unfortunately I agree, I used to spend a lot of time in the chat rooms but they don’t feel like welcome spaces now and that’s for me as part of a couple. I can only imagine how unwelcome single men feel |

Absolutely!
I think regular members need to remember they were newbies at some time and it’s not easy!
A little bit of welcoming would go far.
We are a pretty well verified couple who have been members for close to 8 years and I still feel like I don’t belong in the forums.
Surely that’s not how it should be? |

I've not had problems in the forums but the chat rooms I learned my lesson very early and never bothered again lol I've seen people purposely report people out of spite to get them kicked out |
