Looking at staying over for a night in a hotel in the next couple of weeks, and was wondering what people’s opinions were on the best hotel brands. Not looking for the expensive high end ones, just a decent room decent bed and if I was to bring someone to the room with me (open to suggestions) I won’t have an issue

Village hotels are comfy with decent bars.

I’ve never had trouble getting people in to a travelodge. Plus if you have something pre arranged you can book a room for 3 people 😉

I’ve had 5 in my room before and had no issues getting them past reception

I do love a village hotel so could be good but don’t think there’s one near where I need to stay

Travelodge and premier inn could be good shouts

We have found Premier Inn to be good. Once booked a room and the four of us walked past reception and got a smile and wink off the receptionist.

Crown Plaza hotels have huge beds.

I like crowne Plaza & village hotel are good for getting people in with no issue as then don’t have a general reception, more a self check in

Solihull and Romford

Radisson in Bristol & Liverpool have been good. As has The Hilton & DoubleTree Hilton in Liverpool.

I've often fantasised about those big shower cubicles but never had the chance to try them out. Maybe one day.......

That’s always been a problem with shower fun is it’s a bit too cramped, a big shower gets rid of that problem
