It's probably about connections rather than simple geography.
We've had some right here in London, one while working away in York, but the best ones we've had were in Berlin.

I think most cities have many many men that will turn up. It doesn't matter which city, it's just a numbers game. For every man who says they will turn up, 2 won't. So you need to arrange for 3* the men and expect upto 3 out of the 4 will be a no show.
