Don't call people coloured. It's at best antiquated, at worst it's borderline racist.

Hi,

if I may ask a question too,

White guys, who say they like black women, often get accusations of fetishising black women, and being racist by that.

I ‘m sure there’s guys, who are like that, but not all attraction is fetishising.

And this seem like best opportunity, to ask right the person.

I'd suggest you spare 2 minutes to read Agra Gra's poem 'And You Call Me Colored' 😌

But a while ago it was considered racist to use the word black and coloured was acceptable. When did it switch?

Maybe cause of this:

“About 3.7–4.2 % of the UK’s population is Black (including Black Caribbean, Black African, and “Other Black”), according to the 2021 Census—the most reliable available figure.” Cause it’s consistent with UK population overall.

"I don't see colour only beauty"
just to get all SJW because I was taught to call it out when I see it.

Although your intentions I’m sure are good, they’re a little ignorant, not seeing colour only makes you blind to racism.

People are easily offended and never seem to care for intent… open conversation are what lead to less racism etc in my opinion

I’m a brown man happy to be fetishised lol but I know many women on here have preferences no Asian and No black each to their own and you have to respect that

Coloured was never acceptable, it was widely used by white people in a racist climate. Just because a racist term used to be widely used without shame doesn't mean it was acceptable. I do question what rock you've been living under not to have noticed that coloured isn't an accepted term in 2025...

We have older black relatives who use the word coloured. We shall let them know it's a racist term that has never been acceptable.

I applaud you all day long. You have the perfect attitude. Is it not time we got beyond colour blindness and just accepted ppl for what they are.

I know I'll probably get slated for saying that.
