There was a lot of pressure on that single guy. I don't think there's any reason for her to feel offended because he experienced a problem due to heat, nerves or whatever.

This is a tricky situation isn't it, I do totally understand where you're coming from.
I wouldn't get disheartened too much, it does happen for various reasons and can be anticlimactic for all involved.
I personally haven't had a successful meet in a few years, for similar reasons to you. It has even got to a point for me earlier this year where I preferred to just be a voyeur rather than get my hopes up and then be frustrated or mildly disappointed. I must admit that my temptation for swinging opportunities are currently not being sought out as I don't feel a desire for it, but doesn't mean that it will never happen again. I am just not pushing for it.
Keep the communication going with your partner, make sure you continue to enjoy each other, and keep the naughty desire for a third person going. Then eventually it will happen and fingers crossed it will be successful for all involved.

While I can understand it didn’t go as you imagined, I feel sorry for the man.
He clearly was keen and gave it his best for a good amount of time.
Men are under so much pressure and it must be awful to feel like they aren’t performing to their best when they physically can’t help it.
I also think being frustrated with a man for not being able to finish is unfair.
