I have been on here on and off for around ten years now and never told anyone close to me.
At a dinner party last night, after two or three drinks too many, I appear to have 'outed' myself to some of my closest friends.
I'm just reading through the text message responses! they seem to fall into three categories:
1. Two messages from blokes asking details of what I've been up to.
2. Two messages from two other blokes saying that me revealing my lifestyle choice had made their wives feel very uncomfortable.
3. One message from the wife of a friend imploring me to practice safe sex.
Seems I'm the talk of my friendship group!!
Is it really THAT big a deal? |

To some people it is.
I think once you've been swinging for a while it's easy to forget we're in the minority and a very small one at that.
Oh and the men who say you made their wives feel uncomfortable probably mean you made *them* feel uncomfortable.
We wouldn't out ourselves deliberately because people judge |

We've told most people we know and tell new acquaintances pretty early on because we don't want them to hear it from other people and think we were only talking them to try and chat them up. |

Both our friend groups know. Mrs friends are usually fascinated to hear aboutnour exploits and have even took them to a club to have a fun night out and meet our swing friends.
My mates are a mixed bag of jealousy, curiosity or thinking I'm a cuck 😂
But so far no negative reactions. |

Personally, I don’t think it is that big of a deal inside the lifestyle but accidentally talking about it can raise eyebrows amongst your vanilla friends
But you won’t be talk of the group for long something else will come along and take the focus but I bet there will be plenty of people in our group that will be curious and want to know more and want the detail details what you share those is entirely up to you |
