Ever find yourself drawn to someone by looks alone… only to realise you’re just not their type?
Is it worse or more common for couples?
Attraction doesn’t happen often for me — that instant physical spark and when it does, it stings a bit when it’s one-sided.
Not fishing here, just wondering how often eryone else gets that same kind of mismatch?
When you’re attracted but it’s just not mutual.
Makes the rare connections feel even more meaningful.

It’s hard as a couple to find a 4way interest. Sometimes mine and hubs disagree on the woman of the other couple. Or sometimes she’s much more attractive than the guy. Or you get an imaginary picture of how someone will look while waiting for a face pic and it doesn’t match.
I get why people hide face photos but it would be so much easier if people shared them more freely. |

Yes lots. Aside from all the i fancy you bollocks for a bit of fun. Most people i have an attraction to isnt reciprocated it makes me feel crappy for a day but then i just accept it for what it is. And like you say it makes it even more meaningful when its mutual x |

I understand what you mean with the ‘i fancy. You stuff (bollox)’, as I know people are attractive, but it’s just we can’t be sexually attracted to everyone and want to try to take things further - that’s what’s rare. X

There are probably a handful of profiles tops i've seen and thought 'wow' On here and they know who they are as i've told them.
It's a lot harder to get that online than in person in my opinion and yes i does feel a bit crap when it's not reciprocated but what can you do about it 🤷♂️. |

My approach is to accept everything as a "mismatch" on here until I start to pick up on attraction, aesthetics, chemistry and personality from the other person, and vice versa.
Even when I openly flirt on here - on the 'forum games' and 'forum challenges' I'm never quite sure if the responses from the other people are just polite or well-intentioned. Matching with someone on here never really follows a pattern or logic that I can fully grasp. |
