Ladies and gents. In the fab virtual world can you tell when you’re genuinely being flirted with versus people just being nice and/or going along with flirty type threads.
I honestly think I do not have the ability to differentiate, so tend to assume it’s the latter.

I'm hopeless at firting and reading signals I was chatting with a couple at xtasia on Friday night and they basically had to tell me they wanted to go to a private room because I didn't pick up on the signals |

I love flirty chat, not sure if I'm any good at it but I like it.
I suppose if they keep talking to you and it hasn't got awkward or weird then it's working.

I make a very simple rule, which I think pretty much hits the nail on the head.... "if it's in the forum, it's people being nice, if it's local and outside of the forum, it's flirting" |

My radar is pretty bad at detecting flirting; I'm normally oblivious to it and, outside of Fab, other people need to point it out to me. On Fab, I'd be equally unaware however, as I have little or no interaction with anyone on here, it's hardly an issue.
I do love to flirt with people and as I've initiated it, I'm more aware of when they (the person with whom I'm flirting) flirts back, most the time. Outside of Fab, I never seek to escalate flirting, the fun is in the flirt, I'm not looking for more than that. |

On flirting threads I tend to go with people are just doing it to be friendly/boost the attention they get. It's not meant but it doesn't harm anyone.
In terms of flirting with intent... 99% of the time I go with people are being friendly. And then I can be pleasantly surprised when they express otherwise.  |
