I don't get many winks so when I do I look at the profile of the sender and respond, I hardly ever get a message back so why bother winking in the first place, if you just like my picture fab it or if you like my profile message me but to send a wink and then not respond is a total waste of time, anybody else had this annoyance |

Don't use it much, but when it's to say 'How you doin?' in a Joey from Friends voice.
If someone else winks me in might be for another reason. And if I did message back then it's possible that something in my message puts them off. |

Nobody really knows what the wink function is for.. I always compared it to the poke button on Facebook. Its there, some use it, majority ignores it lol
But nah, I normally use it as a way to make the first move, if I get one back, then I'll send a message. But I suppose like its already been mentioned, people use it for various different reasons |

"if I did message back then it's possible that something in my message puts them off."
This is universally why I don't respond to messages from people I've sent a wink (or message) to. If their message is a very different vibe to their bio, or it demands/assumes anything of me, or simply makes no effort, it ends my interest immediately. |
