Our best was an ancient Vauxhall Victor with a dash gear lever and bench front seat. Nothing to get in the way while we played and easy access at both ends when gf lay flat. Good fo me and entertaining a friend at the same time. What modern car could match that |

Our old ford es cort estate.
The seats went right back, nearly flat.
No centre console to get in the way either.
Whoever designed centre consoles,definitely wasn't a dogger!

Random question, had it always been called dogging but was relatively unknown term outside of the scene? Or did the term dogging only start being used in the 90s when certain actors or football stars were caught doing it?
If dogging is a relatively new term what was it called before? |

Lol thats so funny and true ....
Electric handbrakes and new style automatic gearknobs mean less levers and awkwrdness.....
Discoverys or range rovers good for space and height in back seat |

New style Mondeo was our best car for shagging.
Now got a Mitsubishi out lander. The back seat was pretty good last night. Now need to test out when the seats are fully flat for laydown / boot shagging. |

Back in the day my first car was a Ford Corsair with column change and bench seat, I didn't know about dogging then but it was great for courting but we were only 17 at the time and probably more flexible plus vinyl seats so easy to wipe down lol. |

Google says:
Origins of the Term
"Dogging" the Couples:
One theory suggests the term originates from the early 1970s, when it described men who would "dog" or follow the movements of couples engaging in sex in public places.
Walking the Dog as Cover:
Another theory is that the term comes from the common excuse of "walking the dog" to cover the real reason for being out in secluded locations, such as parks or lover's lanes. |

"This could so be a YouTube video."
I did watch some car reviews on YouTube a while back where they were testing boot size by seeing if 3 adult males could fit in and they could still close the boot. I assumed it was to assist with people who need to dispose of bodies, perhaps not. |

+1 our old ford focus was perfect! New cars have too sporty seats and doors feel too small and narrow! Old is gold!
