massage oils have two elements to them.
1. aroma, so essential oils that smell good, relax etc and these can be quite potent.
2. carrier oil. i guess best described as a neutral bulking oil that the essential oil is mixed into, also known as a blending oil. these can be jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, almond or coconut oils
people can be alergic to any of the oils.some are thinner or geaseier than others.
samples are good till you find the combination that you like, especially for the carrier oil. aromatherapy oils can be expensive if good quality. |
