What’s the best sort of first message to send to a woman/ couple ? I just put “Hey, how are you?” but even I don’t think that’s great lol. Any recommendations? |

More about what you’re looking for, details is key. Face pic always help and the main advice is if they don’t reply - don’t bombard! |

"If anyone just puts one sentence I delete straight away.
It shows that you couldn't be bothered to read the profile."
This. All day long. i appreciate as a man, you may well have to send out dozens and dozens of messages, and get very little back for your effort.
However tempting it obviously is to send a short little intro “like how are you” I’d suggest your target audience gets so many similar they have no compelling reason to open yours.
Yes, it may take you a few extra minutes to write something bespoke, and even that may not translate into a reply, but I’d guess its stands more of a chance. |

Recently, whilst sitting next to a ladyfriend in a bar, she showed me her inbox: there were 400~ messages where the significant majority were "Hey, how are you?", or "Hi", or "Hey, how's things", or ... ...
I think that gives an indication of how ingenious those messages are. |

The best first messages are when you comment on someones profile to show you've read it. Don't assume that will get replies though. |

We always have a read through someone’s profile, pick out parts we have in common, things we are interested in and things we could offer. Then try to compile it into a message.
That way they know we have read the bio and messaged because we believe we can offer something they are looking for, rather than just go off pictures |
