And how did you find it? I don’t care about labels of what you consider to be straight. I just know many men out there have now probably at least dabbled with a blowjob And maybe they loved it, maybe they didn’t just curious.

Sexuality is both a label and societal construct. For some their sexuality ebbs and flows, others evolve whilst some remain unflinchingly the same.
The language used (here and generally) to try and define complex interactions between differing groups of people can rarely encompass the varying sexual undercurrents prevalent in society.
Equally how people and groups identify and are identified is always shifting subtly. Some men claim to be straight, yet covet Trans girls. I find that unusual myself, perhaps we can just dilute attraction down to it's most basic parts?
Identity and being identified is a much more fraught thing in my mind although as Trans visibility goes up, maybe suitable descriptors (hete exible/DL) will gain currency?

I don’t keep a tally but I think that the majority of men who approach me for sex describe themselves as straight. No. I have probably more NB and trans friends (mtf and ftm) than average for a straight guy of my age, but I've never been sexually attracted to any of them. I can be visually very attracted to some but that doesn't translate into sexual desire. But then again the same holds for cisgender women, my male friends are always a bit surprised when I'm ambivalent about women they think are an absolute smokeshow, they might well be 'conventionally' very attractive but I'm not interested. I've had partners who were absolutely stunning by anyone's standards, equally a fair few who many/most might overlook. Which leads me to think that a decent portion of what makes me horny for someone isn't just how they present but it's the biochemistry side of things leading the rest. And a lot of what I enjoy about sex with women I'm fairly sure can't be duplicated with skillful surgery and HRT. I could well be wrong about that, of course, but I'm not sufficiently curious to want to risk awkward moments or hurting people's feelings 'experimenting'.
Like, I'm totally open-minded about sexuality and people being free to chose their own identity to be comfortable in their own skin and live their best lives - but by the same token, as per MM contact - I've had plenty of opportunities over the years (I used to DJ in gay clubs, which obviously made me visible) but at no point did I ever want to accept any of the many offers I got.

I wonder if there should be pre-op and post-op TS categories. As I read this thread and the many men who say they are attracted to ‘trans women’ I no longer know if there’s a distinction between cross dressing and folks who have undergone gender reassignment surgeries. In my mind there is a distinction as one is arguably just a fetish while the other is an identity.

I think that you have put it very well; I know a lot of gay men who are lovely and friendly but I am fairly sure that none them (or not that I know of) or hardly any (perhaps some who are actually bisexual) see me as a man sexually or have any sexual interest in me. I have always mentioned my trans history on here, as i think its fair for people to know as it will be a dealbreaker for some people, but IRL my history very rarely comes up unless i bring it up.

In my experience I get messaged about 50/50 by guys who have on their profile just straight and those who have tv/ts also.
