Not sure if it's just me, but lately (in the last couple of weeks), I have been getting weird messages on here. The ones that are intended to shock you into replying (the "I wouldn't meet" type or the "who do you think you are" kind, not ones describing, in great detail, what a stranger behind the keyboard is going to do to you). Why? Is a new way of men attempting to get their foot in the door? |

Nah we get those kind of messages occasionally. We simply put it down to it being from an overly horny keyboard warrior that's suffering from sub prime intelligence levels. He's probably not had a five finger shuffle for a week. And the chances of any intimate contact with another person have been, and continue to be almost nil.
We just ignore them & block if a 2nd message comes in. |

I sent someone a strange message yesterday
Not in a shock or sexual way I hasten to add !
A case of mistaken identity , I thought that said profile was a friends new one , it was a silly message which to be fair would’ve been mildly entertaining if it had been to the person I thought it was . It wasn’t …. It served to only suggest that I was in fact an absolute lunatic . To be fair , she did reply and we had a conversation over a few messages which was mostly me apologising and trying to actually convey that I’m not a complete idiot . Incomplete was a reasonable outcome 🤦🏻😂 |

The odd one like that but a trend seems to be guys who message and then because you’ve take more than 8 seconds to reply they send you another calling you all sorts and saying they didn’t want to meet you anyway. Very odd behaviour. |

I do worry for some guys reading some of these forums though.
Equally intrigued to know what goes through their mind to think it would remotely work!
But equally similar to reading the daily mail makes me feel somewhat normal of a male and good about my life |

It’s the same guys that you watch giving people the ick in a bar or club, thankfully in most swingers clubs they are asked to leave. But in a vanilla setting and after a lint or two they are certain they are gods gift and every woman in the bar must be part of the feminist movement or a lesbian because they are not interested in them. |

"Maybe they are designed to provoke your curiosity and therefore start a conversation?
Asking if you can insert 2m of chain inside someone is an odd way of starting a conversation. "
Why I’m not even sure how that’s even possible, could it be some sort of medieval torture |

I did indulge in a little chat about that one because I was curious, but perhaps obviously, the ultimate answer was no. |
