When we first joined this site maybe 17 years ago we got heaps of messages from couples in their twenties. About 10 years ago we got heaps of message from couples in their thirties.
Now we are lucky if we get noticed by anyone under 60. lol

Guess that’s why actually going to clubs is better.
At a recent link club event we chatted to a couple in their 30’s teaching them a bit about rope. They later found us on the other site and were a bit shocked by our ages having assumed we were the same age as them.

Think online so impersonal that sometimes numbers matter to much to people, when you get along with people in person things matter a lot less.
I mean I am 35 and had people in 20s not notice my age and then think that I’m too old for em lol. So isn’t any safety from being ostracised for numbers lol. Think it’s natural to want people around age when on impersonal online thingies. But we find age ranges of hookups are way bigger in real life at socials when chemistry can actually come into play. Pretty hard to connect via text and a few pictures as much. |

I worked as a night club doorman up until recently
Joined this site originally it’s conception and was good for first 5 years or so
Then I found age got in the way, nobody in here really wants to shag a guy over 50
Yet I worked 4 nights a week on the door and was propositioned by women ranging from 16- 80 right up until last year when I retired
I am about to turn 65 and can get more luck the old fashioned organic way than online

On our last club meet hubby was amazed that a woman in her late twenties wanted him all to herself. He politely explained that we don't play that way & all she said was " oh she can watch if she wants but your my kind of kink"
He's never had it happen before & I was in hysterics. |

My experience is the complete opposite. I've rarely been propositioned anywhere but here.
I was almost 52 when I signed up here and never once had a conversation about my age and it has never stopped me from meeting. |

wow liveshow, stunning, and yes I feel it too, getting old is no fun it seems, chat to plenty on here, always courteous and friendly but maybe it's being too nice lol or maybe it's being over 50 that's holding me back, or maybe it's me thinking my age is a barrier, after all who wants an old (albeit in decent shape) fogey. |

Yep interesting how it works… we still get msgs from guys in their 20’s & 30’s and tend to politely say no. 40’s guys are Mrs favoured… We know about filters but don’t employ them for anything or anyone due to treating people at face value…. luckily we’re told we look 10 years younger than we do, definitely don’t act our ages, and guess this day and age with so much good information, diet, exercise regimes and skincare, etc. it’s easier to stay young than previous generations

Myself and hubby have just said we just want to age disgracefully and enjoy ourselves 😂 one thing I definitely can’t stand is text speak it makes me want to pour bleach in my eyes especially from younger men 🤦🏻♂️😂 |

We are now out of many people’s age ranges on here but have found that in clubs it makes no odds at all.... we hit it off with all ages then, including a much younger crowd.. Online can be very fickle. |

Clubs are an ageless place. It's not like people generally go around asking age. If you fancy them and chemistry is there that's all you need to know. We've played with a fairly wide age range because if you're hot you're hot. Generally you sort of know how old people are ish. However likewise We've found out people ages after when they've left a verification or profile details and been very surprised at their age (in both directions). |

I think it’s important on this issue not to be self delusional. Looking at the mirror and imagining that you remain youthful, pert and sexy.
Of course some lucky people can hold back the tide for a while. Good genes and healthy diet etc.
But only for a while then fab can become a very cruel place for a sensitive person. |
