I started on here in my 30s. It seemed a good age to be and I did well on my single profile. At ripe age of 42 still feels a good age. Women of a broad age range seem show their intrest. It'd say from experience and what I've seen on the scene is 30-50 goes down very well. However age seems to be more forgiving to men in this scene. Seen many guys 50+ who look after themselves (in terms of general health, not looking ripped) doing really well. It seems to me that the men who struggle the most are the under 30s.
Although in my experience of the scene, especially in the club/party environment age doesn't seem much of a barrier either way as long as you have character, respect and a spark.
