Some guys I think it’s all about the fantasy bordering on the delusional! Or just trying their luck.
Though it not one way, as a guy on the gayer side of bi, most messages I get on here seem to be from guys with ‘straight’ in their profile! |

Fair enough.

Because many gay and bi guys pathologically refuse to accept that there are some guys that are completely, utterly 100% straight. I guess like a some guys try it on with a gay woman - they really believe that they haven't yet met a "real" man. |

Because there are so many “straight” guys that aren’t that straight at all, sometimes it’s worth a shot.
Sometimes it’s a genuine mistake, and the gay guy has misread the signals, and sometimes the gay guy is just a dick, and tries it on anyway, like dick straight guys who persist in trying it on with uninterested women.
Now, if we’re talking about this happening on Fab, then all you need to know is that I have a profile on both FabGuys, and here on FabSwingers, and I definitely get more interest on FabSwingers than I do on FabGuys. I have unquestionably met more “straight” guys for sexy fun on here than I have gay, or bi guys.
With so much ambiguity, confusion and denial around sexual classification why wouldn’t a gay guy try it on with a straight guy? The key is communication. I’m sure if the straight guy wasn’t interested a simple “No thanks, I’m straight” would be sufficient to stop any further advances or embarrassment. |

I get messages and fabbed pics by guys with "straight" as their sexual preference on here. Quite often they have an account on fabguys too. The amount of straight guys who have TV/TS as a meet preference is quite surprising also.
I will chat with "straight" guys, often they're curious. I sometimes initiate a conversation, except if it says "not looking..." but not often. I always welcome chats with guys, curious, straight, fab straight or gay. Just be friendly. |

I think there's a gay fantasy of turning a straight male, much like men thinking they can turn a lesbian straight.
There's also the chance the recipient is actually bi, despite profile saying straight aka fab straight.
Fab is numbers game for some. You send enough messages maybe someone will bite. |
