In Sussex and Surrey, there was a regular pattern and quite a following. I won't name the popular locations for obvious reasons.
I believe that some of the "well to do members of the community" moaned to the plod, who took a dim view of this. The metal bars went up and around the same time the clubs ramped up to fill the gaps. Whilst it is fun and a thrill, clubs are so much better. |

I'd imagine that the worry that people will turn up with camera phones will put some off. Also, the rise of clubs and sites like Fab mean that you can have meets with as many as you like and select whom you meet and do it at your convenience  |

Yes it’s all gay guys, or straight guys with no etiquette, or guys who seem to have sneaked out of an old peoples home.
We still try but pre-arranged meets are the most fruitful…though of course it takes away the key element of dogging…the unknown! |

I remember around 2003 and 2004 reading about dogging in the news of the world.
Me and someone else heading up to spots we had heard about just out of curiosity. Probably a bad idea given how little we knew. But an eye opener at the time. |
