Hot tubs fun but also nightmare

Somewhere in Norfolk ask :)

So we recently got an inflatable lazy spa, took a bit of setting up but that was to be expected.

What we didn’t expect is not only the running costs for electricity £100 extra a month but all the chemicals, testing every time, changing filter and hoovering the bottom.

That bit is annoying BUT doing the full water change and cleaning is an absolute pain in the ass! Trying to get the water out with out flooding next door, cleaning it top to bottom, re-inflating , refilling, re heating and then making sure the right amount of chemicals takes over 13 hours from start to finish!

Wondering to think is it worth it and does anyone else have one and have this ball ache ?

I really can’t see how a few nights with friends in a tub for a few hours is worth the cost and effort of all this ?

Louth

We put ours up in May and Runs until just before we go to PDI in Oct. He does everything, we keep it in twin Gazebos outside, keep the water right and you dont have to change it often, you can buy life long filters, or off Temu. Just wash them then pop in the washing machine. Chemicals you can buy off Amazon cheaper. Just takes a bit of getting into a routine. Definitely worth it. Loads of fun or even chilling as a couple.
