This isn’t a moan as such but just reflects the experience for many on here.
Carefully take time to craft a respectful message, by the time it’s ready to send the recipient(s) have gone offline and your efforts get lost in the deluge they are having to deal with!
I’m sure many can relate to this….
I don’t like to send loads of follow up messages and winks etc so it’s just life. But you do sometimes feel you are missing an opportunity to connect with some very nice people!
Now back to the sunshine and heat of a fab summer!!

Everything is a fine balance and a case of second guessing on here as everyone treats their inbox so differently.
I’m not one for a second message if I’ve seen one of mine hasn’t been read, but on the odd occasion I thought it was worth the risk, I have sparked up conversation as the first was genuinely missed. The same has happened when someone had bulk deleted.
I’ve also sparked up conversations with people who’ve previously deleted me when I’ve changed my profile pictures and face pics.
Fab seems to have forgot a few local people I know I’ve sent messages to, but don’t have the little reminder at the top. |
